How much does it cost?

Our costs are calculated on a per session basis, 3pm until 6pm and include a hot tea each day. It is £19.95 a session, they get fed and they get to play with their friends! Holiday Club is 8am until 6pm and costs £46 a day includng a hot tea.

All costs for the year are totalled and divided by 12 to provide you with a set monthly payment.

I work shifts, do I need to have the same days each week?

Yes, in order to ensure that the right number of staff are in place we do need to know which days each child is coming to the club. However, we may be able to accommodate the occasional ad-hoc session subject to availability.

Do you cover the school holidays?

Yes, we automatically cover 5 weeks of the school holidays each year. These are always the same each year October half term, the first week of Easter and the first 3 weeks of the summer with the exact dates notified before the start of each school year. These days are charged at £45 per day, from 8am to 6pm.  Unless you are a teacher and can provide a teacher number we do not offer term time only contracts.

Can I collect my child early?

We serve tea at 4.15pm and do request that you don’t turn up to collect before 5pm. However, if you do wish to collect before tea then please let us know in advance so that it doesn’t interrupt the children eating or doing an activity.

My child has a food allergy, can you cater for them?

Yes we can.  Please provide us with the form from your dietitian or doctor detailing exactly what the allergy is as children can grow out of allergies and what was an issue when they were a baby may not be an issue when they are 5.

Can I swap days?

Any days not used cannot be swapped for other days.

My child won’t be coming to Stepping Stones, what do I do?

My biggest bugbear!  If you child is not coming to Stepping Stones for ANY reason (off sick, going on a play date, to the dentist etc.) You MUST LET ME KNOW.   Send me a text to 07748 531278.  The school do not tell me and I have a duty of care to safeguard your child.

I would like my child to do a club after school, can you still collect them?

If your child goes to Connaught school they can do an after school club and then come to Stepping Stones afterwards, however, we are unable to do this with any of the other schools that we collect from and the session price remains the same.

I would like to book a place for my child. What do I do next?

You will need to complete and return the registration, contract and permission forms as soon as possible as places are limited. These can all be found on our Prices & Registration Page. For Infant school Reception children please also complete an All About Me form.

Please note: We will require a £100 deposit to secure the place. This will be returned to you when your child leaves us but is non-refundable if you sign up but then fail to take the space.

Do you accept childcare vouchers?

We accept payment from the Government Tax Free childcare scheme.   Search for Stepping Stones   Surrey   EY540405

We are also set up with all the major Childcare Voucher providers and their account numbers follow, if a provider you need is not listed then please let us know.
